The e-Commerce Saga – Who’s Really Making Money?
With the fierce competition in the e-Commerce industry today sites just starting up are finding it more difficult to find success. A typical scenario would be; John decides he wants to sell his one of a kind widgets on line. He looks at e-Bay, the fees are too high he won’t make enough money. John looks at Amazon and finds out that because his nifty one of a kind widgets are not manufactured by one of Amazon’s accepted manufacturers he cannot list them there. He does some searches and finds a few other sites, he tries one. His nifty one of a kind widgets sit and never sell. John is starting to become frustrated. He researches his pricing on his nifty one of a kind widgets and finds he is offering them cheaper than anyone else that has them. John is absolutely perplexed. John, being a determined individual starts thinking a bit more and decides he needs more control over the way his nifty one of a kind widgets are being listed. He decides he needs his own eStore to sell them.
